Can't get pilocarpine drops from pharmacy as no stocks and no date for return. Tried other pharmacies and same. Consultant not answered email from Dr regarding alternatives. My bottle nearly empty and should be replaced tomorrow. Any ideas as to what I can do now anyone. I'm stuck in a broken NHS loop where I can't get alternative script without Consultants say so and there's no reply coming which is probs due to backlogs/strikes.

Perhaps phone the eye clinic for help and advice. There will be a doctor/consultant in the clinic that should be able to help you.
It might be that you will need to go and collect a prescription from them, I did this some months ago when I couldn’t get my normal drops and they sorted out immediately for me.
Hello,
Sometimes the issue lies with the distributors and not the manufacturer. Your pharmacy can either phone AAH who are the distributors who cover all of the UK, to see if the problem lies with them. They will be able to advise the pharmacy when they will be in their area for delivery.
They can call the manufacturer directly. As Pilocarpine is a generic drug, there are various manufacturers but the pharmacy may favour a particular one. If they have a supply, they can arrange for a delivery to be made directly the pharmacy, who will then invoice them seperately.
Alternatively as mentioned by Nala2509 , you can contact the hospital pharmacy who may have a supply to cover your prescription.
