Just to update and report I saw the exceptionally nice and knowlegeable Dr Alaghband yesterday and in the end decided to have SLT.
However I was so unsure and worried I came out of consultation at hospital intending to carry on Monopost as pressure down from 24 to 17.
However before leaving hospital- still deliberating- i changed my mind and asked if he could do it. The poor man- I think I was not the best decisive customer for a Monday morning!!! That said he was marvellous and a great example to his student.
Its now the next morning and so far all ok.
At first after procedure my vision was bit blurred but soon cleared. Once home both me and my eyes felt incredibly tired so had a sleep.
He told me to stop taking the Monopost( have been taking it bout 6 weeks) and he would see me in 4-6 weeks. Straight after procedure pressure was 14. Hope its still same when he next sees me!
Im keeping fingers crossed (not eyes!) that all contiues ok and at this point glad I did it.
i am still pre glaucoma so that was relief!!
He is a very good man and i was so lucky to have him to do my procedure.
Good luck to anyone else unsure what to do and so grateful to have found this site and for help given.
