Yesterday , (16.11.22) was such an interesting webinar.. "Living with Glaucoma" .

Jo-Ann Knight gave some very helpful tips especially for the visually impaired.

She is such an excellent example of someone with a very positive attitude to life , although her glaucoma has left her partially sighted.

I learnt several tips and have a new word : Bump ons . These small round, colourful plastic "bumps" can be fixed on to all sorts of devices at home so that different switches and dials etc can be easily identified.

Many aids are available from the RNIB or Amazon.

This webinar will probably be repeated on Glaucoma UK You Tube website in a few weeks.

Thank you so much Jo-Ann.

That sounds a good session ! Thank you for letting us know about it.

And those plastic bumps sound useful.

I wish they had a system where it's possible to sign up for e-mail alerts in advance. It's easy to forget to keep visiting the website regularly just in case !
