I finally had SLT on my right eye last night and it was okay! Without all the helpful comments on this site I would have been much more hesitant so thanks everyone.
Next up is SLT on left eye followed by a possible trab early next year if the pressure hasn’t reduced sufficiently.

Thanks for this as I have not heard of it before! I love the advice from so many people who can share with others. My Dr. does not take the time to go over the many options some noninvasive some micro and some traditional surgery. She wants to do a trab, hands me a brochure and no time for questions. I have read so many have follow up problems with trab and redo of this and that, I don't want more scar tissue so I have to select carefully. Thanks again for this to check out, eyesong says best to all.
Hi again from eyesong, I am wondering if you had this procedure or if anyone reading this has it done yet, (the Micropulse CPC, ? I see some others are asking also, thanks, eyesong
I had the treatment on July 25th. About 75% respond to the first treatment. I did not. About 89% respond after the second treatment. I may do my second treatment soon. Average pressure drops are 51%. See ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
Wow, a lot of advice and I appreciate your sharing your experience. The article was very helpful and the study was a good one. It is all new to me, so many procedures and never enough follow up advice before you have the surgery! Have you had previous work done or any other procedures that failed? I have had 3 lasers 1 SLT failed, had one retina detached and I get retina injections . I have had both eyes cataract lens done wonder if this procedure can be done with lens in and my history of retina damage. My next ck up is Oct 10 and will ask a lot of questions, thanks to your help, eyesong here.
