Nervous about tomorrow

The night before the op and the nerves have set in ! Realised for one day I won’t be able to use my TV controls, mobile phone and read anything as the vision from one left eye is very poor. I know all will be well just a little shaky, just those little thoughts creeping in as it’s my dominant eye that’s being operated on. Roll on Saturday when I can take the padding off 😊

Natural to feel like that .Instead take opportunity to relax, listen to music etc.... instead .

Good luck for tomorrow, after my last op I thought I would not be able to use remote but managed to switch tv on and change channel the only problem was when I wanted to watched something I had recorded, as I deleted it instead of pressing play!

Nerves are natural and those nasty little thoughts are hard to get rid off but this time tomorrow it will be over and done with . Sending you big hugs as I know exactly how you must be feeling. Listening to music instead of watching TV is a good idea from Lovemy2woofs. I will be thinking of you x

Very best wishes to you, all your friends on here are rooting for you, and in a few hours it will be over and done with and firmly in the past ! I was so scared that on the hospital all gowned up, I said to the few staff there if I am making you late to go home and you want an early afternoon, I'm quite happy to go as well ! They thought I was joking, but I was deadly serious lol. You will do just great !

Ah good luck! You’ll be fine. We all know that the thought of it is always worse than the actual event but that doesn’t help when you’re feeling nervous. I downloaded an audio book for my post-op and some podcasts. That got me through. Xx
