Pupil Very Dilated and Sore...

I had injections yesterday as my pressure was too low and vision was blurry. Vision has improved a lot although still slightly blurry but my eye is very red and a bit painful and pupil is enormous. Has anyone experienced this after injections?

I must admit I had blurry vision after surgery and steroid injections so after what you have had done I would say this is probably only to be expected. Fingers crossed your vision will return to normal fairly soon. I know how distressing it is in the meantime though xx

Thanks for the support. My pupil has been dilated for over 48 hours now which is weird but I am taking drops that dilate your pupils apparently to stop inflammation. How long did your blurry vision last?

I had blurry vision for a month post op, then on and off while my consultant removed stitches or gave me injections. In total I had 3 steroid jabs as my eye was inflamed, but funnily enough it wasn’t painful, he just kept saying it was inflamed. After a trab it can take up to 3 months for vision to return to normal. I hope your vision soon settles down, take heart and press on. I know how hard it is xx

Thanks, my first injection was very painful but that was because my cornea had to be straightened and the pressure went too high The next one was fine, like you I had no pain but the most recent was quite painful. I'm hoping I only need 3 also but my vision is up and down a bit blurrier than yesterday so injections possibly wearing off. It's definitely hard on a mental level but still hopeful and appreciate your encouragement (())

That sounds positive. If your blurry vision is up and down hopefully it will settle, even if it takes a bit of time. Good luck, am thinking of you 😊🤞
