Good evening. I am on the sunny side of 80 and this is my first time on this site. I not only have Neuropathy, but have rigid Parkinson's disease, and last but not least edema.
My question is , can anyone tell me is there any treatment for Neuropathy and does exercise, diet or whatever help at all or is there any thing at all that will help?
Thank you so much for being there.

Sorry to read about your health. Have you had your B12 tested ? Also VitD ? Both can be a problem as we age. Last but not least the thyroid - that too slows down .... Docs often forget to test these vital issues 😊
Hello. I have MCTD. I have tried Gabapentin and Pregabalin which didn't suit me and am now taking Amitriptylene which is reasonably helpful. Finding the right drug seems to be a matter of trial and error. Where do you get your neuropathy ?Your Consultant should be able to find something to help. I like your description of being on the sunny side of 80. Sometimes I feel on dark side of 70. Especially when I catch a glimpse of myself in a wayward mirror. But the important thing in all of this is to try to keep one's sense of humour.......as you have. Let us know how you get on. I think you will find lots of help and advice here. Good luck.
