hi can anyone please if you know is there medication for bladder retention as I had a catheter before but had a lot of issues with it but things were OK till last week again having issues I've been looking as I really don't want another catheter

Hi, you could ask about sacral nerve implants, I’ve one and it’s brilliant but I also have bowel probs so it depends on your issues 🤞😊

Hi what is sacral nerve implants yes I've bowel issues due to co codamol it nacked my bowel so now I've got to irrigate the bowel how did you get your implant

It’s a similar device to a pacemaker but it is put into your buttock and attached onto the sacral nerve, which controls bladder, bowel and lower leg. Whether it is suitable for you depends but speak to your doctor who could then refer you 🤞😊

Thanks i will speak to a dr but also im due to see neurology at fnd clinic next mth I could speak to him about it as well but get an appointment 👍

Do you also get buttock numbness? Loss of sensation.
