I've had a cough now for 8 weeks and it doesn't seem to be clearing, I've got a doctors appointment this afternoon, but not going to hold my breath for much help , you know what the saying is if you have a cough to long seek help could be cancer I hope not .

I get a bad cough quite frequently. Did smoke and do vape now. I woke up aching and very sore throat. There a lot of viruses going round. Just chilling in bed. Had 2 days swimming. Swam 70 Lengths. Maybe over done it slightly. Still trying to get my head round fnd. It's crazy. One minute you ok then next you can't do anything. Happy New Year. X

Hi....in case this helps, I have had a chesty sounding cough since diagnosed in 2016. It gets much worse when I get tired. I was put on blood pressure tablets at the start of my fnd illness for tachycardia and blood pressure issues that came out of nowhere....apparently this cough is a side effect of those blood pressure drugs.
