FND sleep, and diet

It is well known that FND patients do not sleep well, either due to digestive disturbances , pain or shaking. Whilst it is difficult to untangle what is the cause and what is the consequence in this process, the link below, gives some idea of how to improve sleep from a dietary point of view...favouring low carbohydrate meals...but it does not factor in any interference caused by FND.

There could well be more recent articles on this topic that do.

Do you or anyone suffer from body temperatures freezing cold inside body and hot and sweating outside of the body and if you take say your jumper off you're freezing cold and does FND symptoms go like this as well for sleep problems because I always get like this every early evening in this time of year. I can't drink anything cold all year round and Neuropathic pain since 2020 and I knew my nervous system was not working properly since my trauma in 2020 when I breakup with my ex husband and my beautiful son went into foster care permanent which broke my heart terribly and because me and my son has a very strong bond but I do see him every school holidays and 4yrs on we both have come along way and he wanted to come to see me in my hometown where I live and he is about 1hr away from me and it was really lovely to see him I usually travel to where he lives by my carer and she takes me and stays with me to help me and takes me back home again but he chose to travel to me before Christmas which was really lovely. I had some issues with my own family especially with my older sister who didn't want me as her baby sister when I was born and she never have ever wanted me and still don't she is 56 and I am 54 I have a younger sister and 4 brothers my dad died in 2016 and my mum was getting diagnosed in 2016 when my dad was dying and now my mum has deteriorated since then especially in the first lockdown. She said to me many years ago that no one will want me when my dad and her not here anymore I said my younger sister will want me as she was my special sister when she was born and since the lockdown my older sister and her husband has put her poison into my younger sister and they have taken my younger sister and her family away from me my younger sister doesn't realise what they have done as its in a deceiving way like my sister has 3 children 13 5 Yr old and an 8yr old and my older has 3yr and a 7yr old grandchildren and they have got so close to each other playing families but my younger sister is only this as being close because her children are simular ages to their grandchildren and think it's nice for the children but she doesn't realise that it to get me back because they are very selfish my older sister and her family she wants my younger sister to herself without me in it and she did this when I was growing up she wanted our mum to herself so she would tell lies about me to mum so that my mum would believe her over me and my mum did exactly believe her and my older sister who had my mum to herself and then when they broke up mum would come back to me and my older sister was on her own and because she can't do it to my mum anymore she now using my younger sister to have all of her. I was living on my own seeing none of my family members I lost my son in foster care and split up with my ex husband and I seen none of my siblings in 4yrs they never helped me or supportive me when I was in this situation and also I was mentally ill with schizophrenia and ptsd and bipolar and I have autism adhd and learning disabilities and global development delay and fybromyagia osteoarthritis and Reynards Sjogrens syndrome and now I have seen a Neurologist recently and my symptoms were like a thermostat gone wrong and my nervous system not working properly I can't have anything cold apply to my skin it was really torturing and my pain levels were horrific and my movements and balance were like moving a heavy treetrunk and I felt heavier than I really am and I was really freezing cold as though I was in freezing cold icy water pool but it was August 2020 very hot weather and I was ice cold in bed dressed like ice weather and I couldn't get warm enough. I'm still struggling with being far too icy cold temperatures or sweating hot and soaking wet my skin and the Neurologist test sensitivity parts and said that they were abandoned at the time and distress. She said look up a website neurosymmptoms.org but I had already looked at FND symptoms and it made sense to me. Its really awful to manage these symptoms of FND plus Sjogrens syndrome as well. I haven't even had colds for over 4yrs not even chest infections etc. I don't produce enough moisture to get these anymore.
