Lockjaw with fnd?

Hi i would like to know if anyone alsof experiencing extreme lockjaw, tetanus with fnd? I have this for several years and i was diagnosed with fnd last year. Symptoms spams, tics, walking difficulties. But i try to find out if the lockjaw was an early sign.

Hi , yes I went to the dentist because my jaw was hurting so much , I had a soft plate made up so when I was subconsciously grinding hard and in my sleep it helped, then my jaw starting locking and the more I thought about it the worse it got . Even if I was to think it might happen it would , I started to get pain towards the ear from the tension , now I hope for the moment, it seems to have gone I think because I learned a few distracting techniques and it doesn’t worry me anymore. I was very conscious of it and it made it worsen.

Have you tried the physio exercise I was taught to place the tip of the tongue to the roof of the mouth and apply pressure. Its actually quite a relaxing exercise and does relax muscles around your face and eyes as well.

I have had two bouts of quite severe TMJ but I would think they’re not related to FND as lockjaw and TMJ are structural issues in the hinge of the jaw.

Mine are related to dystonia
