temperature fluctuations

Recent diagnosis of FND.

I have had a problem with my body being very hot to touch with flu like feeling, shaking and all over body pain. My cheeks are flushed with a rash on my chin and neck area. If I measure the reading on my abdomen it can be as high as 39 degrees and has been higher than that. I had rigours too. My core temperature is normal. On occasions when it happens I’m flat on my back with severe fatigue.

I woke up this morning shaking. Feeling cold. Checked my temperature on my skin and it’s 39.8.

was wondering if this could be linked to FND?

With suspected temperature, I usually check bottom of back or top of chest for a spot check and then if my son feels warmer than usual and looks a little flushed (although complains of feeling cold), I use the ear temperature. Is your body physical spasming or are you shivering? If its tbe latter I would think a cold virus too.

The other thing I would check is the glass test on the rash. If you gentle press the glass on the rash does it disappear?
