What is the Migraine World Summit?

It’s a free, virtual event where the leading doctors and experts on migraine give their time to ensure patients get the most up-to-date, helpful information on migraine and headache disorders. We have had over 2 million visitors from over 150 different countries.

Each expert interview is 30 minutes long and goes in depth on one specific topic about migraine, suggested by our viewers.

How are the topics and experts selected?

Each year, our viewers suggest and vote on what topics and questions they need answered. We then match each topic with one of the world-leading experts on migraine, and we see which experts have specifically studied this topic.

Is it free?

Yes! Each day during the MWS, 4 topics will be available to watch for free for 24 hours.

After the 24 hour viewing period, you can pay to have forever access. The proceeds go towards next year’s MWS and is donated to migraine charities and organizations around the world.

What do I do with this information learned from the MWS?

Due to numerous access barriers, most of us may never get to see a health care practitioner (HCP) very knowledgeable or dedicated to migraine. We can use the information learned from these experts and A) take the learnings to our HCP and ask for specific treatments or care, or B) learn about ways we can better control of migraine at home and make sure our HCP feels it is safe for us.

What are you most excited about?

That's their info and it's good to see that chronic fatigue is a topic this year since I see people mention fatigue a lot in posts here. Unfortunately there's nothing about migraine and autism yet - there's a link between FND and autism too - but they are looking into genetics which may prove very helpful to people here. Please feel free to share the info about this Summit with your personal and professional networks :)

I can't believe its a year since I registered and watched two of the four free, some had restricted access, so will be interesting to see what is avail for free, thanks for sharing again. I made some useful notes and shared with my son, the sleep podcast was interesting although challenging to get a teenager off his devices at times and it doesn't help when I go to bed later than intended.

Bought a headache halo but sadly they just sent me a piece of fleece, so another thing to get sorted.

Yes, there's lots of great information available via this summit and I would like to see a similar one re FN(C)D.
