Fnd what medications are people on plz

I got put on sertaline but after 3 half months felt down and out tired and so sad i havent took them for two nights now im not sure what i should be doing on sertaline i never felt myself once its lke i had a brick block in my head i could do things but they where never be injoyable i also suffer with menopause i want a drug that will give me back some kind of joy or even a smile which in two yrs seem to of been lost any1 been on different meds that have helpped?

I hate these medications all it tends to do is turn you into some sort of zombie with zero emotions. I don’t take anything like that anymore as I personally don’t think it’s helpful at all but I appreciate that’s my personal opinion. For others it make be really good so not sure if this helps you or not. I would prefer to be around those I love and are good for me and to be in touch with nature as much as possible and doing all the things I enjoy.

Thats how i've felt like lately im not sure what i should do anymore so confused people keep telling me stick it out it'l be worth it but feeling sad and very doomed like and tired did u find all meds was the same ?

Yep I have fibromyalgia as well so no. Of these meds worked for me I won’t to feel alive not like a zombie

I take several different medications but it has been a gradual change and refinement over many years. My psychiatrist put me on sertaline (Zoloft) but it made my hair fall out. I take Lexapro at the high end of the dosage range. I also take a second antidepressant which assists my bladder, I take medication for pain and Baclofen for muscle spasms. I agree that you do need to make sure you have given each drug a long enough trial to see if it works however just because one doesn't work won't mean others won't. My psychiatrist has been wonderful in working out adjusting my meds and so glad I see someone who specialises in this rather than just a GP.
