Hello my daughter who is 33 has a brain tumour and on a lot of medication. Four years ago she had urinary retention and had a catheter for a week and then when it was removed she was ok. Last week she had urinary retention again so she has a catheter again. Today when she went to empty her bladder using the flip tap, some pee came out the tap but a lot came out the usual way so wet her pants and trousers and the floor. So she thinks she has got control of her sphincter valve again. Is this what can happen if you gain control gain. Has this happened to anyone else? We are at a loss. Thanks. Liz

I am so sorry for what is happening to your daughter, my problem is overactive bladder. I could tell you this much don't depend on one doctor, you need to see as many as you can until you find the right, and caring doctor. Best of luck.
