Hey just wanted to remind people, and you don’t have to agree with me but the goal isn’t to make it through the day or week without having a panic attack as hard as that is to sink in, because with that mindset we’re still allowing ourself to be afraid of no real danger. Instead the goal is that if you have one that you learn to work through it lessening the fear of it, which takes practice and consistency and over time the panic will lessen because you’ve taken the fear out and you’ve shown you’re brain through experience and repetitivenessthat we don’t need to run to “safety” and we’re safe where we are, and that’s when the panic will not come around as often.

Hi NikeYrk.
That's great advice that you have shared well done 👍🤗😇
What you posted is spot on and it applies to everyone also with sever health conditions. Reprogramming our brains with getting it to focus on only a positive thought takes the pain sensor attention that's in our brain focusing on causing more pain off its instruction from the main brain sensor commands. This in turn Prevents panic attacks sever pain to be experienced and prevents pain from setting in an confusion, loss of coordination from happening. And how we can retrain and reprogram our brain is with focusing on from our waist down to underneath the ground are roots of trees, then doing 5 slow long breaths in with only our nose, hold for the count of 5 then drop our Jaws slightly and then very slowly breath out through parted lips for the count of 5. But visualised roots of trees from waist down is so inportant too also when you want to change it around a bit you can visualise white oxygen coming into your brain and body as you do the breathing in for 5 and breath out grey stail oxygen for the count of 5 as you watch the grey mist carry all your tenchion, strains, anxiety and pain away.
I hope this is a help for you also dear friend. Its nice to receive support when you give it too. 🤗🤗🤗😇😇 Wishing you wellness and happiness. Be well and keep strong 🤗👍😇🙏
Hi - new to this group. That is very good advice. I never thought of that. I get those issues when I am out -which is rare- if toomuch sensory overload - too many people, sounds, music... Getting into fresh air seems to help or beins specife in my goal fo why i am going to the store -in and out. But thank you for that! I shall try next time.
I would maybe watch youtube.com/channel/UClU2QM... videos, I’ve shared his stuff on here before, he’s helped me so much with recovery work, and seeing things in a different light. He also has podcasts
