Having Hope/Happiness In What You Do

If you at this box everything is original. Try searching for this box and you will NOT find it. The logo I created myself and everything done was done by hand with proper tools and supplies. I did this to service my task either sitting or lying down. Or just moving it around without having to do multiple trips back and forth. Just load up and roll!

This time I made it brought up the idea of making a company/business out of it. I did this sitting down. So I feel like if something like this I can do then God can bring me to another place in my life without feeling hopeless that I can't have what I want. I may need assistance and help but look at how something like my condition can bring out beauty in the ugliest of places.

I tell you something. If you can hold onto that positive personality, God will bless you in ways you deserve best. Keep on using that head of yours and copyright EVERYTHING!

I’m happy you’re happy 😊 where in USA are you I’m in New York

DFW Texas Its good to meet a local at least u can understand about our health system and economy also the distorted perception of this being only psychological over neuro

I’ve always been interested in visiting Texas. How is it down there? Are you a country boy or urban? 😀 And yes I saw three neurologists that said I was physically fine and it must be psychological from stress. The United States is way behind in diagnosis let alone research about this disorder. Made me cry too when one rolled his eyes.

I'm originally from OC California. Although the weather and location is awesome such as the distance to either desert, beach, or mountains is within an hour I moved due to the economy and people. I left at 25 (im 33) to start my career in construction and I turned into a Master Auto Mechanic instead. So i'm more urban than country. The country culture wore onto me though, so much more peaceful and humble.

I live in the green part of Texas, a nicer part of scenery than desert. The state is a part of tornado ally so I get the humidity and heat. The best season to come is the Fall. The season is the link between less to no humidity and nice temp. I call it a California day so that'll give a hint. Spring and summer are icky seasons. Hot, humid air! Or ok temp and humidity. No coat cuz the air will get you too warm even though it's raining and windy. No coat and you get pretty wet or chilly from the wind. Winter is hit or miss. It can be cold or not.

Im sorry you got that after 4 neurologists. I think after the 4th neuro visit and so many psych visits I just said screw mental health. Because if it's "emotional" than how come I can have an attack when im happy too not just stressed. Or if I do heavy physical work than how come Im more symptomatic? I agree it's both neuro/psych but that border is crap to us sufferers. "How come i wake up and can't use my feet?" How come I have movements no matter how I feel? "Its something you haven't dealt with" Horse crap.

In auto we talk to each other trying to make sense of a problem. We look to one another right, and say oh "must've" been this. It's "gotta" be this. I never say that. I say it could be anything, you never know until you "test" it. Don't know test some more. Did you test right? Use another test item to test it. Lets run down how the system works. The dealership goes by 3 C's. Complaint, Cause, Correction. There's a troubleshooting tree. There's not only that but if you're not certified you don't touch it!

If the medical professionals were like auto techs that were diagnosticians like myself than chances are you'd have better results. Even better if they were humble and not bias. I went to a different person a chiropractor. 1st visit and I found something helpful. Blue glasses. He ran tests and spent time speaking out loud to me and I felt validated, I was happy not of my condition because I understand it won't go away, but rather someone just basically put their hands on me and did some practical testing to see how things are functioning.

Some people just won't touch me it's too much. Just like auto. You bring ur car in and say I have this issue. Once in the service man comes and says hey theres this problem.

Some will take it on fresh as a challenge if they're new to it, some will turn it down either by no confidence and it's easy enough or they're content with what they do. Some will take it on so sure of it and it could be overwhelming or just right. When it comes to people and problems if the person takes it on then god bless'em even if its tough god bless'em for just going in there doing something with it. If they don't take it on hey do me a favor and go to ur little corner this place and work is meant for the big boys.

A mechanic with a neuro disorder quite unfair but I dont care I have learned how to dance!:-)

I posted mine too! Arent we brilliant creatures, haha.

Haven’t been on for awhile but so pleased to see you’ve finished your toolbox. It looks awesome. You should be so proud of yourself!!!

in reply to Regaining-control

I very much am thanks I'm building a business because of it:-)

in reply to Regaining-control

Do you wake up and find out your jerks and tics come right back? Only to feel reminded of how you are now? Kind of hard to see a different reality but hey I've learned how to get happy like that box. I'm building a business off it:-) Its depressing at times about my tics and jerks. And how my legs feel like weights when moving.

Mine have just started back again after almost 2 weeks of being like I was just over 3 years ago... was getting so excited they had stopped but no.... not to be. I don’t have the heavy legs (just the heavy body from the weight I’ve put on 😫) how do you cope with getting up and down the trucks or does the brain automatically remember ( if that makes sense)? Have you got your toolbox trademarked yet?

in reply to Regaining-control

I am currently on leave from work they said to get approved to come back by a doctor. Theyre paying me still but last week my job said that the doctor said he doesn't think I should get in and out of trucks. That was a month when I left and last week when they told me. So theyre looking into thinking of how to accomodate me but its probably not going to happen since getting in and out is a staple function of working on trucks/vehicles.

I used to cope with instead of just stepping on the step I would sit on the step and grab and place my hands on the next step and boost myself up. sitting on the steps rather than stepping. It worked out fine for me but they didn't think so. My job say "3 points of contact." So it would be one hand on a grab bar, one on the door handle (theres a designated place for that), and one foot on the step. I would sit my way up basically.

And talking about remember. If I would fall down my brain would react quick to get into brace mode or step quick mode. Like a sudden stop of a vehicle. But im not sure now. It has been like that sometimes. Where it is easier sometimes to step forward and other times it would be difficult to raise my leg higher than 3 inches (12 centimeters).

My logo hasn't been trademarked yet but it definitely will. Along with patented. But theres fees involved and time taken. I havent sold my prototype yet so its not significant enough to grab public attention. But I know it will just by what it is and what it can do. It is a plan once the business' established

I’m really sorry to hear things aren’t at its best for you... it’s hard enough dealing with this without the realisation of how much it affects our daily lives. At least I suppose work is decent enough to pay you. Small mercies in an awkward situation for you. Must show how good you are and the respect they have for you

I’m sure your prototype will sell soon. Make sure when it does you do a separate post so we all know. I think you hold on to achievements from others in the hope it is possible for all if that makes sense...
