CAR crash

I have FND, I get full leg paralysis and I have to have catheterisation due to bladder retention. I have seizures and chronic pain on a regular basis. I use crutches somedays to walk and for shopping I use a wheel chair.

A car just reversed into my partners car to which I was on the side that was hit. My 3 year old son was also in the receiving side

I have had even more pain since the accident. And I am in my first 3 months of pregnancy.

Do you reckon I could claim?

I'm not sure where you live? I found out the hard way that you must file a special form for no fault in order for your medical expenses to be covered. In Jan of last year I had stopped to assist an overturned vehicle. Within minutes another vehicle lost control and struck 3 of us. I was told by her insurance that I have to file no fault with my own insurance even though I was a pedestrian! My insurance denied my claims because I was a pedestrian! No one mentioned the special no fault form. Because I didn't file within 30 days Medicare has to cover the expenses not her insurance! The residual pain I have after 1 year has to be negotiated into the settlement. I would most definitely file a claim and call a good personal injury lawyer.

Hi

Yes make a claim if it has made your symptoms worse you can make a claim.

I have FND and suffer from paralysis of either legs or arms or both at same time luckily my legs and arms come back to working between 1/2hour to 4 hours.

I was hit by a land rover which made my symptoms worse and pain levels considerably worse due to the jarring of my car.

I claimed and got paid out. You would go to your GP and get it logged there and get extra pain killers
