Conversion disorder

Anyone out there believe that Plato an ancient philosopher and those before him state that conversion disorder is a dysfunction of the womb.

4000bc also Egyptian philosopher also dysfunction of the womb

Do they know something we don't

They had the technology to build pyramids which is leaving man today wondering how did that do that.

They knew how many planets in the solar system before the telescope had ever been invented.

If doctors cannot fully understand this phenomenon but those with understanding may comment on this 6000 year old disorder.

Is the answer within the womb

Yes they did used to believe that our wandering wombs moved freely around our bodies. They were obsessed with the womb. Then Freud came along and pointed to the brain.

While it may still feel like we are in the dark ages with treatment and understanding for FND, these theories should be left where they belong, the dustbin.

The only good thing that came out of 'hysteria' theories as far as women are concerned is the invention of vibrators. ;)
