NFD awareness shirts

I realized there are really no shirts out there to raise awareness about NFD. So I’m going to make one! Any suggestions on designs??

Great idea.

How about this?

A sunset in the background and the motto, " Bringing Hope and Empowerment to those with FND"

Just an idea.

Best of luck and put us on your order ok when it comes to fruition.

Best Wishes!

Kim and Tony xx

Maybe put the awareness ribbon on the back with the quote then on the front put Functional Neurological disorder? Or maybe the other way around?

I am big into quotes and positive sayings so I love it! Any suggestions on a quote you would like to see?

Make sure that "functional neurological disorder" is spelled out fully somewhere so that people know what FND stands for.

Hi. I ran a 10km race last Christmas to raise money for FND. As we have no official club status (although I am in discussion with the Scottish Athletics Association about becoming a recognised club) I made my own designed running vest. The vest was black. The back and front read the same : at the top the FND logo. Then I put a green space invader (yep i’m knocking on a bit) and underneath read “ If I don’t have a software malfunction I’m gonna finish”. And finish I did - in under an hour 😀 although pre-FND and my daily seizures I would have been looking at a finishing time in the high 30 minutes 😭. C’est la vie with this sodding illness/disorder/ or what the hell is causing it.

I’ll keep you all updated about the Scottish Athletics talks - good way to get more people thinking “What disability does that runner have. I’ll google it” and hopefully they’ll be reading the BACK of my vest 😂👍.

At least I made it over the finishing line and then promptly had a seizure - but I wasn’t last ✌️ .

Cheers

Lou
