Black eye and swelling.....

Hi

I am still under investigation for a underlying condition in conjunction with FND but I was wondering if any one else with FND suffers from swellings?

Upon waking I commonly have a swollen area under my eye, always the same side and it looks like I've been hit in the face. The swelling appears quite dark like a black eye.

In addition I suffer from swellings in the hands and fingers.

Any feedback would be appreciated if you experience this too.

Many thanks x

Yes. My left eye occasionally goes puffy underneath my eye and looks like the start of a black eye. My GP has no idea why it happens and neither have I. It usually tends to be when I am relaxed and on holiday which makes it even more confusing but that's FND for you! Unpredictable 😯
