Hi! I'm just curious if anyone else experiences daytime sleepiness even after full night sleep. I went to sleep specialist recommended by my neurologist. Anyone with movement disorder in sleep too???

Absolutely, one of the main symptoms for me personally, Fatigue +++++++++

Ironically the only thing that seems to help a bit is to exercise, not hard impact etc. I use Tai Chi and exercises called Qi Gong. Many can be done in the chair if needed.

One other thing I would advise is to try not to sleep too much during the day it realllllyyyy messes with productive night sleep. I do succumb a few times a week when the fatigue is just too overwhelming and would be counterproductive not to.

Have you had sleep studies done or would you possibly be a heavy snore.? In any case really hard to deal with. People think I am a drunk walking down the street, makes thinking straight very difficult.

Try your best to focus on the good things and pace yourself.

Best wishes

Dave

I am tired all the time, no matter how much I slept the night before. Before PSP I slept 5 to 6 hours a night and my energy level was very high. I worked full time as a registered nurse, and many days I needed to stay hours after I was supposed to leave and rarely was I ever tired as I am now. I so enjoyed using my brain at work, but now I sometimes do not recall my own name! Good luck with your endeavor. Mary B

i get the same but i've put it down to a mixture of thing my depression and caring for my partner, also due to having a hiatus hernia that sometime act up and wakes me up.

So if i feel to tired during the day i have an afternoon nap which helps in away but sometime makes getting to sleep at night worse.
