Right sided hearing deafness

Has anybody lost there hearing in one ear because of FND. I have had evoked test and no brain waves showing from right ear?

Or arterial fibrillation diagnosed?

I have right sided numbness, tingling, vision loss and hearing loss. I wear two hearing aids now. I thought I was the only one, as most describe left sided issues (or that's just my view)

My nerve in my ear is not sending the correct information or my brain can't interpret the information sent. The hearing aids have been a life changer and that's not being dramatic. I didn't realise how isolated/reserved I was being, especially where there is a lot of people (family can be quite noisy) until I could actually hear again.

The television no longer makes my hubbies ears bleed from being so loud.

I am getting no signal going into my brain either from my right ear, it has been progressive since 2009 to the point there is nothing left at all now. Looking at changing my hearing aid to the cross ones. Where signals would be sent to my working ear from the side not working. Is this the type you are using? Love to hear from you

Has a Nuero told you why it's happened?

My tingling can be on either side of my body but is worse on my left side, with lots of stiffness and weakness especially after excersise.

Hiya it is a relief to know i too am not "alone" with the deafness. I wear siemens digital hearing aids in both ears the right being worse than the left. I have an excellent audiologist as I haven't seen a neurologist since my diagnosis and dismissal. I rely wholly on my pain consultant and GP. My audio has explained that there is a main nerve that goes directly.from the ear to the brain. Whilst the ear drum hears sound, the nerves carries interpreted noises straight to the brain. As FND is deemed to be a nerve issue this makes sense to me

He kept it simple as I get easily confused just lately lol.
