How to tell my teacher I have seizures

I am looking at going back to college after being diagnosed with functional neurologic disorder and seizures. How do I explain to a teacher that I have seizures, what they can expect, how to help, exc. should I have a notebook?

I told my teacher at my college course I had an illness caused fnd and it has caused me to have seizures. I explained what would happen during the seizure, what I would be like after and what he should do. I also suffer from bad speech so he was really good about it all.

Please don't worry, you need to contact the people who deal with student welfare and explain to them what is wrong with you and they will make sure all the staff you will come in contact with will know about your condition. Also if you need extra time in exams, or any additional help you will get it. So contact Student Services first and ask them to speak to someone who deals with student disabilities and move on from there
