I would have your PNES re-evaluated. This could likely be the cause of the PNES.

Just a thought.... I would possibly suggest not going to the doctor that treats or diagnosed your PNES. It may be more difficult to get an unbiased answer or speak to the doctor that has diagnosed POTS.

I too have Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) issues, though not POTS, and non epileptic seizures. I have spoken to several people and read a textbook that all seem to indicate that PNES can be caused by autonomic issues, and the ANS is the mechanism by which the seizures and other symptoms are created. My ANS is possibly caused by multiple 'marginal endplate osteophytes', bone spurs that push forwards into the body, irritating the actual nerves of the ANS where they pass very close to the spine in the mid-thoracic region.

For me, too, I suspect that thoughts triggered by PTSD and a lifetime of trauma also stimulate the ANS the wrong way, setting it off. I take Physiotens & CLonidine which keep most of my symptoms under control most of the time.
