Good morning everyone I'm now on here and I'm hoping I can get some answers to FND .0

I've been suffering with stroke like symptoms on a regular basis with my face drooping on the left my eye mouth sleared voice dizziness and very tired.

This has been happening more and more on a regular basis I go to A&E and get sent home saying its not a stroke and I need to see my neurologist who I've just seen after waiting 5 yrs told its FND but need more tests to get a definite diagnosis.

I can't work as a domestic assistant at the care home my manager says I'm not safe on site . I need advice please help me .

good morning and welcome , I to had stroke symptoms but I was blue lighted to hospital as they thought I was having a stroke. After three days told me no stroke and discharged me and gave me neurologist appointment 6 months later, my gp was not happy and got an emergency appointment. 19 months later diagnosed with FND after 4-5 visits discharged. And basically you’re on your own. I walk as if drunk so to am unsafe to work. You just have to adjust to life and do the best you can . I have been on trials (no help so far) and done physio (various) . I hope you find what you need here. Good luck. Kevin

Hi Kev we Yes I've done all the blue lights to A&E tests and sent home and always get told the same thing no stroke that's good news but you need s neurologist I've got to have more tests bloods and fine needle test to face and still waiting for my appointment.

Because of my symptoms dizziness and stroke like symptoms my manager says it's not safe for me to be at the care home even though we have nurses it's not knowing what's going on I'm now on 3 months sick but it doesn't pay your bills .

Same to you mh friend good hope you get sorted soon .
