Thanks. I think many who consider keto or even start would be shocked to know how many sources indicate that fat content should be 75-80% or even higher. Not sure every source agrees, but that's what I've read quite a bit. Tough standard for most to really consider given their previous diets.

alternatively, from the evening of day 2 of my fast mimicking diet week, I get into ketosis anyway

Meaning under 500 calories/day without regard to food types? Or still restrictions on food types?

Valter Longo protocol is mid-high fat, moderate carbs and low proteins for the fast mimicking diet, not that you do have space to fool around when you aim at 400 kcal per day :-P

But calories restriction itself is enough to get into ketosis
