I have prostate cancer, obviously or I wouldn't be here. But this is about something else that may help some of you.
Many years ago when I was working in Asia I discovered the toilet spray hose, which was a fixture in every bathroom, public and private. A neat, quick and effective way to really clean yourself after a bowel movement. I'm happy to see this device is today fairly common in the West.
As the years passed and I transitioned from middle age to old age to really old age I noticed that bowel movements were becoming more difficult. I suppose the muscles needed were atrophying like all the rest in my body. I'm sure most of you know the feeling, having a full load packed firmly up there that just won't budge. You sit there and squeeze and push and sweat and strain and...nothing. One day I was in that situation, bathed in sweat, red-faced, recalling stories about people having strokes and heart attacks doing exactly what I was doing. And then I glanced at the spray nozzle on the wall and I thought...hmmm? And just on impulse I took the spray, pressed the nozzle firmly right against my butt hole and squirted a good strong stream of water right up there.
Instantly I felt an enormous pressure build up and I knew exactly when to release the spray trigger. I held the water in for a few seconds and then flexed hard, and everything shot out. Like a potato cannon. And it felt great. Thoroughly clean, empty, evacuated. And I have used that method ever since. It has never failed me.
Hope this helps someone.
