I have just leant of PMSA scans and was looking to see if they are available on NHS in UK

I'm on the NHS and had a PSMA PET scan but that was because the MO decided he wanted one. They are not available just by you requesting one.

In the states you request one. Whether or not the insurance companies authorize it is usually linked to PSA and the possibility of finding mets. I've had three. All of them were requested by me and filed by my MO to my insurance company. All were approved. My out of pocket was $200 per test.
