Since lesion discovery, I have changed my morning diet instead of eggs, dairy, etc to drink liquid raw broccoli and limes, now reading this wondering if true or anyone else has autoimmune thyroid to deal with along with PCa.

I have been having some thyroid issues all year with attempting to adjust the med replacement dose. Up and down mood and energy swings.

"On the other hand, those with existing thyroid conditions should be more cautious. For individuals with hypothyroidism, it’s recommended to limit the intake of these vegetables, especially in their raw form. Cooking cruciferous vegetables can significantly reduce their goitrogenic compounds, making them safer for consumption. It’s also advisable to include a variety of other vegetables in the diet to ensure a balanced intake of nutrients without overloading on goitrogens. Consulting with a healthcare professional or a dietitian can provide tailored dietary advice based on individual health needs and thyroid function."

You could consider an iodine supplement or seaweed supplement to counteract the goitrogenic properties of the broccoli. I suggest you discuss with your doctor.

Raw brocoli ?I couldn't stomach that for breakfast

Graham 49 suggests iodine and I agree

The reason most things are bad for thyroid is bc they compete with iodine

But if you suppliment with a pinch of organic green sea kelp there will be no competition - iodine from the sea kelp will win

So your thyroid will be happy

In fact I would recommend tofu for breakfast if you are looking for a protein rich alternative to eggs

Not what you're looking for?
