They're gorgeous Sandra, I love budgies. My Nanna always used to have them when I was small. They were so friendly and chatty too!

I had a budgie when I was younger, our neighbours bred them and she let my sister and I choose one from a nest where we watched Billy every day from being an egg, until he was big enough to come home with us

yes, Jenny not as much as Bobby - he picks things up off the telly too! [good & bad].

I've watched a prog about hoarding, hours later, among his other words, he said "that's bad" paused "a waste of money" - if only he'd come shopping with me!

I didn't think girl budgies talked at all? Unfortunately Billy learned to say "walkies", which would have the dog running round barking like crazy, I think the next thing he learned to say was "shut up!" but I think he used to enjoy winding the dog up because he did it a LOT!

I now have a picture in my mind of the two of you walking around your local shops consulting on purchases
