help,I snore very loud and hubby says I almost sound like I am choking, sound like I have stopped breathing then start snoring again,!
Sounds like you should get checked out for sleep apnoea as sounds suspiciously like the symptoms. Good luck!

defo sounds like sleep apnoea hun i wud get it checked out there is lots that can b done for it n it can b dangerous if not treated espesially if ur stopping breathing good luck xxx
Has anyone suggested sleep apnea to you. Apparently it's alot more common than people think. Google it and then you can mention to your doctor. You will probably need to fight for any tests as an Endocrinologist wrote recommending I b tested but my doctor totally ignored this - too expensive I think

Get to your gp immediately and get a referral to a sleep clinic. You need I be checked for obstructive sleep apnoea, if you have this you run the risk heart disease , diabetes , a stroke, or uncontrollable high blood pressure. You needed to have a sleep study done ASAP. xx

As others have said, it sounds like Sleep Apnea. I also have Sleep Apnea, and have to sleep with a CPAP mask on every night. It takes a while to get used to using it; you just have to persevere. Having Sleep Apnea puts a strain on your heart, so using the mask is better than having a heart attack! I stopped breathing every 3 minutes before I used the CPAP!
