I also have numbness in my arms hands and legs, have mentioned this to the Doc and he said it was just one of the symptoms of fibro along with many others that he didnt even know about. But if its worrying you get it checked out. Having difficulty doing this message x :( Ann

I too suffer with numb fingertips and pins and needles in them too....it's like you have slept on your hands and they're just coming around. I get the pins and needles in my toes too. Think I will make an app with my GP....dread goin to him of late though, as I feel he thinks I'm malingering. Even though he's had the report from the rheumotologist diagnosing me with Fibro and Hypermobility. I told him he should have recieved the report, his words were " oh yeh" and a did a quick flick through it. and that was it! :( I'm currently taking 30mg/500mg Co-Codamol and 20mg Citalopram. xx

This is interesting to me, I have a friend who has classic fibro symptoms, including numbness in her fingers and feet. Given that she is registered blind and reads with her fingers, you'd think her doc would consider it of real importance, but no, there's nothing showing up in the tests so there's nothing wrong, it's just her apparently!

I've been on at her for years to change docs, (same missed a misscarriage, claimed the bleeding and pain was normal in pregnancy), but second scan showed the pregnancy was terminated).

Maybe this new, (to me), symptom will change her mind.

So glad that my problem may assist yr friend in receiving a diagnosis hopefully quickly, she needs to change her GP urgently too!

I note you have spinal problems too. I also have coldness &

numbness in fingertips and have spinal problems too particularly at c5 &c6 in neck with acute impingement due to rear osteophyte. I have been helped in the past with gabapendine(?) which helps nerve pain. It might be worth asking for a neck x ray especially as you already have spinal problems. I have found in the past that many doctors dismiss all symptoms down to fibro, for me it now emerges this past year that I also have hereditary cirrhosis. I hope the doctors help you ease your pain I know it can vary in severity and hope that you do eventually get some respite from this. Best of luck & wishes to you x
