My son called in this morning,he'd locked his car keys in the boot of the car --he's a senior engineer said "how could he ring up and say he couldn't keep an appointment because the keys were locked in the boot?"--we're not the only one's who get things wrong/ forget things /make mistakes.

Christine it surely does,I've spent years being put down because I'm not quite up to scratch---now as much as I love my sons I think let them have some idea what it's all about, I've been a figure of fun for so long, but actually now as people age they suffer !complaints! nothing like what like we suffer but at least I can say to them ---so you have a pain in your knee --what ever ---imagine that in all parts of your body,then you may get a little understanding---but they probably won't few can unless they experience it.
Really I think we are too hard on ourselves
