Since the weekend every time I look in the mirror I seem to be
getting older!! I know its just the pain and things will improve, but
it just gets me down. Had my 51st birthday on Saturday and I feel
and look every one of those years!!

it dosnt help though when your 15 yr old daughteris standing behind you with her perfect tight skin lol
me too, Ive aged terriably in 3 yrs I was always told I looked young for my age now I look a mess, as for daughter, Ive got 2 I cant remember when my boobs looked straight ahead not point to my feet,
I do understand, I have very dark shadows and bags too and turned 50 last November. However, sometimes I look ok, usually when I have just washed my coloured hair [naturally red, but now fading and making me look washed out!] with a nice touch of makeup. Hang on to the good days! Keep up your fluid intake [not alcohol] and keep hair and teeth clean and the right colour!!! My teeth are now horrible owing to all the cups of tea I drink! =( Still, on a good day =)
Keep smiling, and no one will notice your extra bags.

Hi lynz, oh for those days!! no effort required to look good.
Now no matter what I do I dont seem to feel or look good anymore.
Oh well suppose there are worse things but I always took pride in my
appearance and its hard to lose that feeling.
At least you have your daughter to help and advise you on things!!
When i have had a bad few nights my 10 yr old son tells me i don't have bags under my eyes. They are shopping trolleys..lol.. hes do funny and makes me laugh lots.

That's what its all about, laughing as much as possible when you can,
although I know it can be very hard.
If i could get my trolleys filled maybe Id look a bit better!
ahaaa! me too, said this before somewhere. I went docs incase it was some fab new symptom or illness, as i suffer with bad sinuses and had visions of having them drained. had tests and guess what? Yep, nowt wrong. so its just ageing process made worse by not having quality sleep at night. But i'm only 37, with eyes that look 60, my goodness, what happens when i am older?!xx
