Bipolar with Fibromyalgia

Hi Everyone

just a quick hello, Iv also recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia after years of being diagnosed with many other issues.

I wake up now in the middle of the day just pinned to the Ben like a heavy person is laying on me! There not by the way!

it’s a pain that’s agonising and I can’t move for pain. I’m also bipolar as well have been for over 20 years. Any advice for coping mechanisms ?? As I’m really struggling at the mo? Thanks in advance xxx

Morning, it’s pretty rotten some days for fibro s and other conditions they have to cope with each day🙁, it certaintly helps too chat with others here that understand with pain and trying too keep postive each day, im guessing you may well have seen your doctor recently ? Is there anything they can try medication wise for you? I have fibro /cfs /sleep apnea and a few other bits and pieces but take each day as it comes I suppose , my biggest way of coping is the pacing method daily and heat seems too help so always hot water bottles ,/wheat pad . I do use ibuprofen some days on certain areas , differently I need a warm soak in the bath with some Epson salts every evening. Was really looking forward too Spring and I diffo feel better when the Winter jogs off, here we go again rain forecast all week here in Suffolk ☹️☔️
