Hi, yes I also get this especially at night or when I'm really tired. Can be really annoying especially when it's my hands and I am holding something

Hi,yes I get twitching and jerking. It can be very annoying especially if I’m holding a drink! I also have Cfs amongst other things . Was diagnosed with functional neuropathic disorder 2 years ago but only get it mildly.....can be part of that but gets very confusing. I find resting more can help 🦋

When i'm sleeping this is pretty common. I get lots of leg twitching. My wife is convinced i have RLS or Periodic Leg Movement Disorder . We've video'd it and shown it to the dr several times but it always gets dismissed. How is it impacting you at the moment?

RLS is usually more related to pain in the legs, I used to get very small twitches when I was tired but I now have very violent twitches at any time day or night from just hand jerking to full body, this morning I had it for 2 hrs solid after I had got out of bed.My neurologist said that he thought it was likely PLMD but didn't say anything about managing it or how to cope with it, so just been left in limbo really 🤔 x

Hi Jane you could ask your GP if you can try garbapentein if you haven’t already and ropinerole which is prescribed for Parkinson’s but has helped me with RLS , good luck 🤞

Hi Jane I am prescribed baclofen for my muscle spasms like you I could twitch all day but I'm not as bad with baclofen and pregabalin. I learned to go with the flow of the spasm because if you try contain them the pain is worse. Take care x
