Hi Lucy

Are you talking medical cannabis or the type you can buy down your local alleyway from a yoot with a baseball hat on?

😊

The alleyway one I’m afraid panda as I can’t get medical one try cbd oils drops sweets all of it but it doesn’t work.... I know it’s not the right thing to do but it’s the only thing that makes me feel human again.... please don’t judge me I’m not the usual hood rat waiting to buy drugs off of someone dodge 🙃 x

in reply to Lucy41

That made me laugh 🤣. Your ok I never judge anyone I can’t understand why it’s acceptable to judge other people the only person you should judge is yourself 😊. I live with an addiction but I now control it, it does not control me so I have to be so careful.

A long time ago I had the worst period pains and was staying with a friend in Portugal no less, she gave me a dodgy looking cigarette and said smoke this, within 10 minutes the pain subsided and we dressed her dog up in a poncho and sombrero and laughed all night. It was resin not buds. I have also done the whole Amsterdam coffee shop thing again, laughed until we cried.

I watched a documentary about a celebrities mum who has MS (Jane Felstead) and suffers with terrible pain. In a experimental controlled environment in Amsterdam she smoked cannabis and literally felt the pain subsiding, channel 4 I think really good watch.

I think about 2 years ago I did try but the strength these days is overpowering and the smell horrendous I literally looked like I had had a stroke, I was hitting out at spiders crawling over me, it made me throw up, totally out of it for say 2 hours but like I say it could just have been too powerful and made my brain work in a totally different way definitely was not chilled out.

I tried CBD oil vaping did absolutely zero for me apart from hurt my lungs.

It’s like anything in life, if you try it and it’s not for you then all well and good but if it works then great you crack on honey we all need to do what we can to feel human and get a form of relief from this debilitating Fibro.

I watched the documentary you are on about. It was binky from made in Chelsea's mum, she went with her other daughter. I watched all the episodes of the programme. I hold my hands up to smoking cannabis. I don't smoke it all day i just have one in the evening to help me sleep. If the pain is unbearable during the day then I put a little bit in some tea (my son showed me how to strain it properly) but most of the time I put up with the pain. I find it helps much better than pain killers.

Spot on Angie yes it was and it was a whole series, I have to be honest if I knew how to get the right strength for me, I would take it. I thought about using it in baking but my friend who is a baker was trying to work out how much it would take to put it say in muffins or brownies. My nephews favourite is lemon haze and as he says gets you stoned for days 🤣.

I have never heard of the tea that’s really interesting, the problem I have is not getting it, it’s easier than getting dried pasta in a pandemic but how to work out how I could use it to my benefit. My best friend still has 6 puffs a night to help her sleep she hates the effects of commercial drugs.

If it helps then I am all for that.

When making say brownies you do put quite a bit in. When they are in the oven you should be able to smell it. It's up to the individual to be honest. I've made them before and i put in maybe 4 joints worth (i smoke it with tobacco) i couldn't smoke just pure cannabis lol. It takes a while to figure out how much is enough to help ease the pain. So you could make some amd if they do nothing then next time put in more. As i said you should be able to smell the cannabis when the cakes etc are in the oven. I watched all the episodes as well. It was really good.. If you do make some let me know what you think. I find it's so much more helpful than taking pain killers and alot less harmful as well. 😊X

Ajay honestly the way I walk Mr Pooch is an alleyway and a boy rides up on an electric scooter and pulls it out of his man bag mind you probably stuff that is probably a lot stronger than just cannabis.

Everyone smokes it you can just smell it in the air but it’s about choice at the end of the day it doesn’t bother me either way if you do or don’t live and let live, I would say quite a few people in my circle of friends do, and there was me thinking the doorbell was for pizza 🍕 🐼😊

I inhaled a lot of it in the first lockdown due to the hot weather and people in their gardens never made a blind bit of difference 🤣

I am going to be honest! Once I used something when abroad to ease the pain, I am not advocating it but within a second my pain vanished!

That was years ago, my mum simply said a lot of people use it to kill the pain. We also know about other side effects. Just a point of view ☝️

Keep safe

Ok ...I tried a puff for the first time ever a few years ago .... I've no idea if it helped the pain but I was out cold sleeping for about 3 hours

😴😴😴

When my daughter is in a really bad flare, it's the only thing she says that helps.

It works for me👍

Sorry about the writing I'm not very good at this x my bri and sis have fibromyalgia too

Hi! I've been having many issues for some years now, I've always thought it was fibromyalgia, but only just diagnosed with fibromyalgia last week. I started smoking weed about 2 year ago, just one in an evening, and my symptoms were no where near as bad... However... My partner suggested we stopped smoking it because of lung health, so we stopped about 4-5 month ago... And I've felt so so shit everyday since 😣 I honestly feel worse for stopping. I haven't had a good day since stopping. My pains are worse, headaches are worse, first I thought it may have been withdrawals from stopping, but no, still not feeling good. And because I feel so much worse physically, I feel worse mentally too. X

Hello! I am from the U.S. and im very seriously considering medical marijuana. I would take the tintures. A dr's asst told me she takes Sativa for daytime, which gives you energy, and Indica at night, for sleeping which you can get with varying levels of cbd/thc ratios of your choice.

I tried Tramadol, one half pill, and had day and night leg cramps for three days last week . Never again.

Im afraid of duloxetine's withdrawal brain zaps and more.

Gabapentin and Neurotin make you gain tons of weight.

Topomax makes you lose hair, your mind, your eyesight, gives you kidney stones, but you do lose weight. Not everyone will get ALL of the side effects.

Medical marijuana is expensive. Dr visit every three months is required and paying for the govt card two x a year.

Even if i just do it for a while, i will have regained my life for a while. Its looking more and more that i will do this.

Only live once.

There are such excellent reports on pain relief from this.

Nothing else seems to compare.

Quit , and no side effects.

Have a great day !

I hope you find some relief!

Hi Lucy41, It’s the only thing that consistently works for me. Very simply put, there are two basic types: sativa and indica... or combination strains. The CBD and THC content in each varies depending on the variety. Buying illegally won’t guarantee the strain CBD or THC levels. Reputable CBD oil and flower over the counter has helped a little but is a diluted version of the medicinal grade. I have just been prescribed LEGAL Medical Cannabis oil and flower from a Neurologist who works from a MEDICAL CANNABIS Clinic in London. They also liaise with my GP so it’s all on record. There is a criteria that you have to meet and it’s not cheap, but it is a worthwhile investment into your health. I paid £99 for an hour long consultation via video call. Follow up review appointments are half that. Then the prescription costs, which vary! I realise I can’t put the clinic names down here - there are several and it’s worth researching them before committing to a consultation as some may seem professional but they have mixed reviews. Google them 🤓 Also look up on Reddit for medical cannabis too. I’m happy to help in any small way by sharing my experiences through private message. In short - I highly recommend! 🙌

Hi Lucy. I ve used it for 12 years, it’s the only way I can cope. Was on tablets for years which depressed me to the lowest point in my life. I ve tried cbd oil. At 2300 milligram. Which gave you a relief. But doesn’t dim the pain enough.

Cannabis has thc which helps me, but can be a bit floaty.

Issues are. Buying it is pretty impossible. And it could cost you up to 10£ a day. And then you have to smoke it. ( I don’t smoke ) which makes it harder.

You also can not let people know as they will judge you, but as my Fibro keeps me away from other humans. ( no patience at all anymore).

It’s a choice and in my opinion is a million times better than tablets.

If you put it into cakes. Or a atomiser it will cost you more as it doesn’t work aswell.

Everybody as an opinion and you should make it your decision to make your Treatment work for you.

Good luck. X

Lol you need to come to Essex Lucy they smoke it whilst talking to the police, they just ask are you over 16 to which they reply yes and carry on walking it’s so low down the scale of things personally legalise it therefore they (the government) get the taxes we get it cheaper well in theory 🤣🤣 xx
