Bone pain.

I have pain between top of leg to just b4 my knee.doctor says it's coming from my hip which on scan reveals arthritis.its like toothache wakes me up with pain but seems better once in up and about.all the xrays and injections nothing but the physio notice 3 folds skin on left of waist at the back and 2 other side turned out my hip had dropped over age and they made a heel pad about a fraction higher to level my balance.could be that.

Paracetamol is the best for the aching bone pain but the only cure for arthritic pain is surgery. The injections are used as a diagnostic tool to assess if the pain is arthritic or soft tissue. Surgery is not recommended for younger active people because they wear the replacement out quickly and it has to be revised. Physio can help inprove the supporting soft tissues to take some more of the strain.

You have my sympathy asI have the same and toothache is an apt description. At night putting a pillow between your legs can help with the pain.x
