I have had fibro for 30+years and am unable to take medication due to side effects. The only things I use when pain hits me so bad is the usual heat, ice, rest and the occasional otc ibuprofen and a low dose valium. I also find my tens machine a life saver. Many members say they get some relief from epsom salt baths. We are all so different there is no guarantee what helps one will help another unfortunately.
I am sure some of our lovely members will be along to say what is helping them and what is not. You may wish to take a look at our mother site it has a wealth of information.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening xx

just seen this msg jlmcnichols in between pain relief I use a simple hot water bottle, down the back of my pants to warm the lower back mucscles, for ladies under your bra at the back for rib muscles and for legs n arms walk around with my TENS machine on both areas.
