So last Monday was meant to be my hearing for my ESA appeal so after 6 months of rejections (as we know this is the norm so nothing unusual there) I arranged transport etc woke up at 5am took 2 hours to get washed dressed, took my meds and again as per usual passed out woke up at 8-20ish wished my son a great day at school and waited.

My hearing was scheduled for 11am

10am phone rings

I wont bore you with the details but transpires the Judge is ill,yes he's unwell and they cant find a replacement so my appeal has been postponed

Seriously I know not whether to laugh or cry lol

Merry Christmas everyone have a great 2018

Be good and or careful

Lord, it sounds a bit of an uphill trek.

Hope you can try and have a nice break anyway.

Let's hope you get the same judge and he remembers he let you down by being off sick! Try and put it out of your mind for now (easier said than done I know) and enjoy the festive season.

My heart goes out to you. Having had to go to two tribunals with my husband I know how much stress is involved. I do hope that they give you a new date soon.x

Oh good grief that's horrid. More waiting! They should just give you a free pass for all the stress. Hope you can put it out of your mind to enjoy the holidays.

That's so annoying. You would think they would always have someone to step in in cases like this. It happened to me once. These people are playing with our lives and we are completely powerless to change it,

yeah did try earlier this year to get help from NHS but although I qualify (their words) unfortunately I'm at that difficult age (between 18-65 lol) where theres really nothing available but I digress so to answer your question yes got guy from CAB to represent me,got doctors letters, backing of nurse etc so heres hoping

thank you to all for taking the time to reply Merry Christmas and a very happy health peaceful and stress free 2018 xx
