Does anyone who takes gabapentin find it makes you drowsy/sleepy

I used to take it and got up to 800 a day . Never made me sleepy just a bit spaced. I stopped taking it as it was no good to me

Hi I take Gabapentine twice a day at a dose of 150mg each time and as yet no side effects, and I have been on it since June 2015.

I also take 60mg of morphine a day with 20mg of steroids, 1000mg of neproxen.

The drowsiness is more likely the Fibromyalga than the Gabapentine, and if you are in constant pain it will make you feel really tired.

I do not personally use Gabapentin but i have pasted below an excerpt form the *Mayo Clinic cache:

Gabapentin (Neurontin, Gralise, others) is a medication used to help manage certain epileptic seizures and relieve pain for some conditions, such as shingles (postherpetic neuralgia). Dizziness and drowsiness are common gabapentin side effects. Weight gain and uncoordinated movement are possible side effects.24 Jun 2015
