How long have you been on it only I have read you shouldn't take for more than 4 weeks I have been on 5mg once a day since July now on 4mgs a day but I am worried about withdrawal.

I'm with dizzy on this I go a week every now and then just to check I'm not hooked on them!

4mg is not a large amount, you could snap the tablet in half and take two mets a day then after a week take two mets every other day then fOllowing week none. This is just my opinion you should talk to GP if concerned as we all have different tolerances to drugs.

I have had fibro/Anxiety/panic/Agoraphobia for 30 years. Diazepam/valium as been the only medication I have been able to tolarate.

I can go for long periods with out using it. So I would say imo if you use it and not abuse it addiction should notbe a problem.

But if you have an addicted personality then you could become addicted to almost anything including water !!

Hello to all, when I need it I just use a half tablet, and it does the trick, so as all have said care is the way through, and little can sometimes be the answer, hope some of you all get some sleep, before the guy in the red suit puts in the annual appearance and causes mayhem,,,,ttfn from Karen.
