Wow Foggy I find that a bit weird but neverthe less fantastic ! xgins :) :)
Amazing, stunning and beautiful indeed.
I hope this doesn't spoil it. For me the following enhances the picture. What you can see is less skeleton and more skin.
Sharks, skates and rays don't have bone, they have cartilage skeletons - which still show up. All over their skin are little structures like tiny teeth, called denticles. I'd never realised how symmetrically they're arranged.
I was at a dig last week and for the first time I saw some objects I was told were scrapings from shark skin. In medieval times it was used in the preparation of skins for books. There was even a denticle in one of the lumps - sorry, no pic as the light was rubbish.
Thanks (((((Badger))))) you've explained exactly what I found so beautiful, not the skeleton at all (though I surprised to see something which vaguely resembles a sort of leg on the the right of the pic ) It was the wonderful fan of cartilage which struck me as beautiful
How are you, doing my friend ?
Foggy x
That looks like dorsal fin and you can see some organs. Don't the gills look wonderful. Some of the prettiest sights are mostly hidden.
Resting today - well, mostly. Sorting out my holiday itinerary, then a brief look at the cows. Cyclefest tomorrow.
How did the visit go - and the hair?
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{[Foggy}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
Visit went mercifully easily apart from a mammoth thunderstorm when the rain came down like walls of water and then started to come into the conservatory under the door, quickly put towels down in an effort to stem the flow, not entirely successfully
Hair now highlighted and ready to go, had to fight off the urge to get it cut into my normal bob, but I need it long enough to easily put up............ So Kos here I come

Thanks for the explanation I was saying to my husband was it the tiny bones that held their skin together. Interesting facts about the shark skinx
Much, much prettier then my pic of a sloth`s skeleton. They look weird with their skin on, take it off and they are really alien looking.
Have you any more lovely pics for us ?
Much hugs sue.
Oooww well, I'll have to think on that one sue, you never know what a Foggy has tucked away
That is lovely. X
stunning, there is such beauty in the world xx
I love how a stingray looks on the outside but it is absolutely beautiful on the inside. As you said, the symmetry is amazing. Thank you for sharing x
It's lovely who knew that's what they looked like under the skin it beautiful .
