Oh thank you sue, I've just got back from dropping him off, poor little chaply was shaking from nose to tail. Anyway I know he is being operated on by the best possible person, but that doesn't stop one worrying. I've woken with raging tinnitus which had been giving me a break for the last couple of weeks (so lovely) and am shattered as I got very little sleep, hey ho, you are so so kind for sending your good wishes, I can't tell you how much I appreciate them :-)

Morning gins, thank you so much for your kind words and yes, I am strangely ok, I have a great deal of faith in my friend Tess who's the vet doing his op. She's my oldest friend down here, so as you say he is in good hands. I will definitely be trying to snooze , infact I'm sitting up in bed with Poppie under the duvet, a cup of coffee on my bedside table and my friends surrounding me on here. What more could more could I wish for? I will ring at 2.00 if I haven't heard anything before then and I'm assuming no news is good news.

Thank you again for your words of encouragement :-) :-)

Did you hear about the bloke who left a dead giraffe in a pub. The barman said "you cant leave that lying there". The man said, "It's not a lion, it's a giraffe"
