3 jobs maybe .........so confused.

Oh dear my head is spinning. I was just writing a post when my phone rang and now I'm even more confused! I am in for 3 jobs. Firstly in a hospice on the bank, secondly on the NHS bank and now I've just been informed that if I'm willing they will put me forward for a full-time job in Outpatients! This I think would be 8-4pm Mon - Fri. However, I have no confirmed offers but have been cleared as fit over the phone for the hospice job but called in for a medical for the NHS bank job. Now I'm wondering if they will question my fitness to work in outpatients and I will need another assessment for that? You'd think they would try to make the medical count for both jobs. Unfortunately the outpatients job is on the other side of town where parking is a nightmare. Oh there's always something! Yikes I don't know what to think.

Hi sounds very positive for you :)

You must be feeling proud and excited at the prospect of choosing which job is best for you. It is a shame that you'd have to have separate medicals but as long as prepare yourself well you should be fine.

Also, if you're not deemed fit please don't be too upset :)

:) wishing you luck and sending positive healing fluffies your way

Hi there

I agree with zeb as it all sounds exciting and you really should be chuffed to bits with yourself! No matter what the outcome is you should feel proud and positive about all of this.

Good luck

Lucky you. It's rare to find 3 jobs at all in our local rag, never mind 3 that I can do. Hope you get the one that works for you. Hospice can be incredibly rewarding.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. As I said my head is spinning with it all. I rang the hospice and they are waiting for my PVG to come thru and the NHS bank want to put me thru a medical. Tbh the idea of a full time job feels a bit like too much of a leap - no flexibility or Me time. I've done a lot of walking this week and swam this morning I think its good for my mental health to be able to do such things we fibromites who get depressed need time to be kind to ourselves sometimes when life starts to overwhelm us. Outpatients isn't really nursing either I do prefer looking after poorly people on balance. Anyway, yes you are right I do feel chuffed because I've got thru 3 interviews so have obviously come across well and capable. Any spanners in the works with my medicals will just be a pain, not my fault but if I don't pass I will be gutted and won't know what to do instead. Life........... not for the faint hearted! Nwg x
