I think if your husband earns more than £142 PER WEEK, you dont qualify for ESA Income based...I am due to come off Contribution based ESA at the end of July. I rang the DWP and was told the above....You may get more Tax Credits etc.

Good Luck

Jan

Hi Jan read your reply with interest. Although I am not actually answering the question put. But what I would like to know is you say you are due to come off contribution based ESA can you please tell me why. My husband is on this and we have had no inclination as to whether he is to come off or stay on.

Man thanks for your help and hope you are having a good day.

Kind regards

Bye for now Love Axxx

Hi I have received Contribution based ESA since July 2012, you are only allowed to claim it for 365 days!!! Shocking really its a joke...I appealed in May I won, and they put me in WRAG....When I phoned DWP they told me beacause my husband works I dont get anything!!!
