I feel like an imposter but it hurts so much

I know I may get some grief but I do feel like an imposter in a way. Myself and partner had to make the worst decision we have ever made and terminated our baby.

I'm really struggling with everything and just can't forgive myself for what I've done (after myself and my partner trying our best to figure a way we could have carried on the pregnancy it was both our decisions but I can't help but blame myself as I'm the one who swallowed that pill)

I can't stop thinking 'what if'

I wonder if you've considered seeing a counsellor to help you cope with what is essentially grief?

I think you should seek counselling for yourself and partner to come to terms with it all. Take care xx

I'm sorry but I feel your response is entirely inappropriate as the science does not support what you're saying. This woman is suffering and she deserves our support not our judgement.

I agree. The lady has already said she is blaming herself, but she can't change the past so it's not helpful to say she shouldn't interrupt natural ways and then give her a scare story which is not scientifically likely to be replicated. These groups are meant to be supportive.

I agree, none of us can judge another persons decisions, you do not know what her personal circumstances are and I'm sure this was not an easy decision .

I do think she should seek some professional support and advice on how to deal with this but I'm sure, as with all grief and sadness it fades with time
