So I'm having failed ivf this month, just a doubt popped in that if we go for multiple embryo and what are the outcomes? I mean if one embryo implants what happens to other? Are there any risks involved in 2 embryo transfer? Can we do 2 embryo transfer with FET? PLS SHARE ANY EXPERIENCES!!! 😄

Are any Risks with 2 embryo transfer?
If one implants and the other doesn’t, it is absorbed into the lining. There are huge risks associated with multiple pregnancies- higher rate of miscarriage, birth defects, gestational diabetes, premature delivery, twin to twin transfusion and the list goes on.
You also can’t choose to have two. You are only offered two for clinical reasons as it is so high risk.
If you have a good blastocyst you will not be offered a double transfer.
Hi there. I'm sorry for your failed IVF shot. I'd been familiar to it myself. My abroad clinic could place in maximum 3 embies at a time. But it's a rare experience. People usually opt for 1-2. We had 2 both times - both successful with 1 only. So I tend to think that in our case 2 balsts placed at a time really boosted my chances. Another one vanished both times. We're currently parenting 2 adorable ivf kids.
Wishing you the best of luck for your following try x
