Has anyone in the UK recently done a menstrual blood infection test that tests for hidden chlamydia etc? Where did you do it and would you recommend?

Menstrual Blood infection test

Sorry I haven't done it in the UK. I did it with fertilysis a couple of years ago. It was called full female microbiome and needed a vaginal swab as well as period blood sample from the first 12 hours. I can't remember what it included but their website should state what exactly it tests for. I did the tests on my own. My Doctor at the fertility clinic didn't agree as this method-period blood testing- isn't widely accepted. It costed around 600€ . Relatively easy to organise once you get your head around it.
I also did it with Fertilysis. The lab is based in Greece but collection is done at home and you send the specimen through the post so I did everything from home in the UK.
I would def recommend. It's simple to do, non-invasive, and tests for a much wider range of pathogens than can be done with a uterine biopsy. xx
have a look at Daye. The test is not as comprehensive as Fertylis but looks for the main issues (microbiome, hidden infections etc). It’s around £90 and you wear it as a tampon for a certain amount of time and post it back to them.
Just to add I’ve used Fertylis before and Daye was easier and cheaper to use.
Oh and I’ve had the Emma and Alice bloods and biopsy at a London clinic, can give you more info on pm if required.
